A cozy, recycled fleece-lined blanket with all of the softness and uber-chill vibes of Faherty's clothing. Their blankets are custom-woven on looms with long-staple organic cotton yarns, then specially brushed for a soft, time-worn feel. The result: a versatile blanket with the perfect blend of ruggedness and comfort to see you through chilly nights at the campfire or cozy nights on the couch. The perfect gift for yourself or others, made to last a lifetime.
This design was created by Doug Good Feather; in his own words, the pattern is "...a symbol of new beginnings; the star is what the noble eagle greets first in its morning flight." An artist, veteran, author, and teacher, Doug is from the Standing Rock Lakota and Dakota Nation and is the founder of the Lakota Way Healing Center. Our ongoing partnership has enabled the Center to purchase 100+ acres of land and expand its ability to offer Indigenous spiritual practices to anyone in need of healing. According to Doug, “The process of healing is to see each other and to help each other and guide each other...companies can work together and create good medicine and good healing for communities.”
